This project intends to interface Orbiter Space Flight Simulator with a web site by means of an Download telemetry feed and some PHP scripts to parse & plot the data feed.


INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Make sure that the SpecMFD.dll module is stored in the plugins folder and activated at Orbiter's Launchpad. Make sure that the file profile.xml is located in Orbiter's main folder. In Launchpad, select the desired scenario and proceed to start the simulation.

  • To show the MFD, press Shift+T and it will be displayed and activated. Press Shift+F2 and the plugin will load the profile and show the pilot's name on screen. Press Shift+F3 in order to encode the profile and stamp the results file that will be created afterwards. The MFD is now ready to start recording the simulation.
     
  • When you wish to start recording, press Shift+F4 and one telemetry data set will be stored every 10 seconds (this is done to reduce the size of the file) or every second if x10 warp mode is engaged. Once you wish to stop recording, press Shift+F5 and the results.xml file will be generated. You can now exit Orbiter and run the Orbiter2XML console client to submit the results to this server.
