 | Mission Control - Orbiter2XML |
In the last few weeks I've been playing around with some stuff in order to create an interface between Orbiter and a web site. I believe that, when proper support is implemented into Orbiter, this can be a handy and more convenient way of dealing with Mission Control activities.
In the meantime, I've sketched a simple MFD plugin that saves telemetry into a XML file and written a simple console client that feeds such data to my server where it can be plotted and analyzed.
At its current stage it can be an useful aid for Virtual Space Agencies, as an educational tool to follow progress and keep logs of missions of their virtual pilots. If you're curious of what this tool can do, feel free to download it at the Work In Progress download section
I'll start a new thread at the forum for those of you who are curious or wish to discuss on the behaviour of the MFD or client, in the mean time, please read the included documentation.
